韩国：总统李在明午宴表彰世界技能大赛代表团 韩国队在上海获总成绩第二
韩国总统李在明11月5日在首尔青瓦台设午宴，表彰韩国世界技能大赛代表团。韩国队在今年的世界技能大赛上获得总成绩第二名，李在明在席间称赞代表团的表现，并承诺加大对青年职业技能人才的支持。
本届赛事为第48届世界技能大赛，今年9月在上海举行；该赛事两年一届，被视为全球规模最大的职业技能赛事。李在明在午宴上表示，人的技能事关国家竞争力，韩国正是凭借职业技能发展成为全球制造业强国，政府将为技能人才的培养提供更多支持。
世界技能大赛涵盖制造、建筑、信息技术、服务等数十个技能项目，各国青年选手按统一标准同场竞技。韩国队历届成绩位居前列，此次以总成绩第二收官。

South Korea: President Lee Jae Myung Honours WorldSkills Team at Luncheon After Second-Place Finish in Shanghai
President Lee Jae Myung hosted a luncheon at the Blue House in Seoul on November 5 honouring Korea's delegation to the WorldSkills Competition, commending the team's second-place finish at this year's event and pledging greater support for young vocational talent. Lee said human skills are a matter of national competitiveness, citing vocational skills as a key factor in Korea's development into a global manufacturing powerhouse.
The biennial competition, regarded as the world's largest vocational skills event, held its 48th edition in Shanghai in September. The Korean team finished second overall.
WorldSkills covers dozens of skill categories spanning manufacturing, construction, information technology and services, with young competitors from around the world tested against common standards. South Korea has consistently placed near the top of the standings at past editions.
