Nebraska Chief Information Officer Matt McCarville Resigns: Governor Pillen Announces Early-December Departure
LINCOLN, Nebraska - Governor Jim Pillen announced on November 4 that Matt McCarville, Nebraska's chief information officer, has resigned and will conclude his service to the state in early December.
The chief information officer oversees the state government's information technology operations. The Governor's Office announced only the resignation and the early-December departure timing; it did not name a successor or give a reason, and further arrangements await a later announcement.
Pillen won re-election in the November 3 midterm elections and is set to begin a second term as governor; personnel changes in his administration are taking shape ahead of the new term.
