国土安全部列举的个案包括：在犹他州 Salt Lake City 被捕的墨西哥籍 Jaime Ramirez-Almaraz，有入室盗窃与持械严重袭击定罪；在佛罗里达州 Miami 被捕的墨西哥籍 Jesus Moreno-Lucio，在 Naples 有谋杀未遂与严重殴打定罪；在路易斯安那州 New Orleans 被捕的墨西哥籍 Daniel Martinez-Guerrero，在田纳西州 Nashville 有持械严重袭击定罪；在新泽西州 Newark 被捕的墨西哥籍 Ezequiel Mendez-Mendez，有持致命武器严重袭击致人受伤定罪；在明尼苏达州 St. Paul 被捕的危地马拉籍 Kevin Ramirez-Gomez，有猥亵儿童定罪。
国土安全部长 Markwayne Mullin 在声明中说，ICE 执法人员一年 365 天都在全国执行法律、逮捕涉罪无证移民以保障美国安全，「这包括感恩节、圣诞节，也包括选举日」，并表示本届政府「永远不会为把美国人民的安全放在第一位而道歉」。

DHS Highlights Criminal Illegal Aliens Arrested by ICE on Election Day
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a statement on November 4 highlighting illegal aliens arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) across the country on Election Day, including individuals convicted of attempted murder, aggravated assault with a weapon, and child molestation.
The cases DHS listed include Jaime Ramirez-Almaraz, a Mexican national arrested in Salt Lake City, Utah, with convictions for burglary and aggravated assault with a weapon; Jesus Moreno-Lucio, a Mexican national arrested in Miami, Florida, convicted of attempted murder and aggravated battery in Naples, Florida; Daniel Martinez-Guerrero, a Mexican national arrested in New Orleans, Louisiana, convicted of aggravated assault with a weapon in Nashville, Tennessee; Ezequiel Mendez-Mendez, a Mexican national arrested in Newark, New Jersey, convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury; and Kevin Ramirez-Gomez, a Guatemalan national arrested in St. Paul, Minnesota, convicted of child molestation.
"Every single day, DHS enforces the laws of the nation across the country. 365 days per year, the hardworking men and women of ICE law enforcement are targeting and arresting criminal illegal aliens to make America safe again, this includes on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and yes, Election Day," said DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin, adding that the administration "will never apologize for putting the safety of the American people first."
