俄勒冈州马尔特诺马县波特兰市兰苏园菊花节11月5日开幕 81个品种菊花展至22日（华人新闻）
波特兰兰苏中国园林的菊花节将于11月5日至22日举行，以菊花象征高洁、长寿与秋意为主题，园内将展出81个不同品种的菊花，并配有花艺装置、园艺工作坊及其他文化体验活动。夜间特别活动“金花之夜”将于11月5日至8日举行，11月14日还设有感官之夜。
主办方介绍，今年菊花节的花艺作品由18位艺术家创作，包括瀑布沿线的层叠花卉展示和大型植物雕塑。白天活动包括11月5日至15日的花艺设计展，11月13日和20日设有“边品茶边作画”活动，11月15日则有干花花环工作坊。部分活动需要特别门票。
兰苏园位于波特兰老城唐人街，是俄勒冈州唯一一座正宗中国园林。菊花在中国文化中象征长寿、坚韧与秋天之美，菊花节已成为波特兰秋季最受欢迎的传统活动之一。主办方表示，菊花节期间园内还将安排现场音乐、文化体验、工艺制作等活动。
波特兰华人社区已有150多年历史，兰苏园由波特兰与苏州合作建成，是当地华人文化的重要地标。菊花节门票与活动详情可通过兰苏园官方渠道查询。

Lan Su Garden Chrysanthemum Festival Opens November 5 in Portland With 81 Varieties Through November 22
The Chrysanthemum Festival at Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland runs November 5 to 22, displaying 81 varieties of chrysanthemums with floral installations, horticulture workshops and cultural activities. The illuminated "Nights of the Golden Flower" runs November 5 to 8, with a sensory night on November 14.
This year's floral works were created by 18 artists, including cascading displays along the waterfall and large plant sculptures. Daytime programming includes a floral design showcase November 5 to 15, paint-and-sip-tea sessions on November 13 and 20, and a dried-flower wreath workshop on November 15; some events require special tickets.
Located in Portland's Old Town Chinatown, Lan Su is Oregon's only authentic Chinese garden, built in partnership with Suzhou, and a landmark of the city's Chinese community of more than 150 years.
