New North Dallas Restaurant Braised Sells Out on November 1 Opening Day as Food Critic Keith Lee Backs His Brother's Venture
Braised, the new North Dallas restaurant from former mixed martial artist Kevin Lee, opened to the public at noon on November 1, 2026, and sold out on its first day. His younger brother, food critic Keith Lee, promoted the opening in a social media video, and the first 30 customers received free meals. The restaurant, at 1499 Regal Row, Suite 205 in Dallas, is known for its signature oxtail dishes.
The Braised concept began at a farmers market in the Miami area, grew into a food truck, and has now put down roots in North Dallas as Kevin Lee builds a new venture in the city. According to The Dallas Morning News, customers streamed in on opening day and signature dishes sold out quickly. Keith Lee, one of the country's best-known food reviewers, routinely draws crowds to small restaurants, and his support for his older brother's shop drew wide fan attention.
The restaurant says it will serve the North Dallas community with consistent cooking and an accessible approach, adjusting its menu with customer feedback.
