韩国总统李在明呼吁修宪：应由国会主导、朝野协商推进
韩国总统李在明11月4日表示，韩国现行宪法自1987年以来未曾修订、已不合时宜，应予修改，但修宪应由国会主导、经朝野协商推进。李在明当天在青瓦台与国会议员协会（前任议员团体）领导层共进午餐时作出上述表示，总统发言人姜由桢在记者会上转述。
韩国宪法上一次修订是在1987年，确立总统直选与五年单任制。李在明表态后，总统任期制度等安排预计将成为修宪讨论的议题。按韩国法律，修宪案须经国会三分之二多数通过，并付诸全民公投。
South Korea's President Lee Calls for Constitutional Revision Led by the National Assembly
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said on November 4 that the country's Constitution, unchanged since 1987, no longer fits contemporary society and should be revised, but that the revision should be led by the National Assembly through bipartisan efforts. Lee made the remarks at a lunch at the Blue House with the leadership of the Parliamentarians' Society, an association of former lawmakers, according to presidential spokesperson Kang Yu-jung.
South Korea's Constitution was last revised in 1987, when it introduced the direct presidential election and a single five-year term. Following Lee's remarks, the design of the presidential term is among the arrangements expected to be debated. Under South Korean law, a constitutional amendment requires approval by two-thirds of the National Assembly and a national referendum.
