波士顿公园圣诞树点灯12月3日晚6时至8时举行：新斯科舍赠树传统，免费观赏
位于马萨诸塞州萨福克县波士顿市的波士顿公园（Boston Common，139 Tremont St）将于12月3日晚6时至8时举行市府官方圣诞树点灯仪式：市长点亮新斯科舍省赠送的圣诞树，沿街免费观赏、无需门票（费用：免费）。
这棵赠树源于1917年哈利法克斯大爆炸后波士顿驰援的百年传统，是波士顿节日季的标志仪式；点灯后相邻的联邦大道林荫道（Commonwealth Avenue Mall）灯饰约晚8时同步亮起。同系列市府点灯还有11月30日的科普利广场与11月23日的哥伦布公园棚架灯饰（均另行报道）。

Boston Common (139 Tremont St) in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, hosts the City of Boston's official tree lighting on December 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.: the mayor lights the tree gifted by Nova Scotia, free to watch from the park with no tickets (cost: free).
The gift tree continues a century-old tradition dating to Boston's aid after the 1917 Halifax explosion. The Commonwealth Avenue Mall lights follow at about 8 p.m. The city's Copley Square lighting on November 30 and the Columbus Park trellis lighting on November 23 are covered separately.
Expect crowded sidewalks near the Common; check the City of Boston website for street and transit updates.
