The Riverside County Department of Animal Services said on November 3 that it will take part in nonprofit Petco Love's national pet adoption weekend, bringing adoptable pets to the Petco store in La Quinta, Riverside County, California (78720 CA-111, La Quinta, CA 92253), on November 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and inviting community members to meet pets looking for loving homes.
All adoption fees are waived during the event, and every adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip and an engraved name tag. The national campaign, run by Petco Love in partnership with Warner Bros. "We encourage the community to jump into joy by adopting your new best friend." Petco Love President Chelsea Staley said adopting a pet brings joy and possibility into daily life, filling homes with love, laughter, and moments of happiness.
