Election Day in Utah's Iron County: Vote Centers and Drop Boxes Close at 8 p.m.
Utah held its general election on November 3, with all four U.S. House seats, governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, treasurer, auditor and legislative seats on the ballot. In Iron County, the Parowan courthouse served as the early in-person voting location and the Election Day vote center, open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; drop boxes across the county also closed at 8 p.m. Voters who had not registered could register and vote at a vote center; the deadline for mail or online registration was October 23. Voters could view sample ballots, check voting information and track their ballots at Vote.Utah.gov. The Parowan vote center is at 82 North 680 East on Johns Valley Road, phone 435-477-8344. State election officials reminded voters that the 8 p.m. closing time applied to every voting channel.
