檀香山11月7日推出二战日裔士兵展 展至2027年3月
美国夏威夷州檀香山市中心的夏威夷州立美术馆 Capitol Modern 将于11月7日推出巡回展览《我是美国人：日裔士兵经历》（I Am an American: The Nisei Soldier Experience），展期至2027年3月13日。
该展览追溯二战期间在美国陆军服役的第二代日裔美国人（Nisei）的历史与个人经历：他们在家人于美国本土遭受戒严与大规模拘禁的情况下，仍选择参军服役。展览设在州议会大厦第一区大楼内，这座历史建筑曾是武装部队青年会（Armed Services YMCA）会址，位于首府政府区中心。
Capitol Modern 是夏威夷州文化与艺术基金会的主要公共展示场所。主办方表示，展览通过个人叙事呈现日裔士兵在战争年代的经历，为夏威夷多元族裔历史提供新的观察角度。
Honolulu Opens Nisei Soldier Exhibition on November 7, Running Through March 2027
HONOLULU, Hawaii — Capitol Modern, the Hawai'i State Art Museum in downtown Honolulu, will open the traveling exhibition "I Am an American: The Nisei Soldier Experience" on November 7, where it will run through March 13, 2027.
The exhibition traces the history and personal experiences of Nisei — second-generation Japanese Americans — who served in the U.S. Army during World War II, choosing to enlist even as their families faced martial law and mass incarceration in the continental United States. It is installed in the No. 1 Capitol District Building, a historic structure that once housed the Armed Services YMCA, at the center of the state capitol district.
Capitol Modern is the main public exhibition venue of the Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts. Organizers say the exhibition uses personal narratives to present the wartime experiences of Nisei soldiers and offers a new perspective on Hawaii's multiethnic history.
