Philadelphia's 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade marches through Center City in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Thanksgiving morning, November 26: a 30-minute pre-show starts at 8:30 a.m. and the parade follows, free to watch along the route with no tickets (cost: free).
Founded by Gimbels department store in 1920, it is America's longest-running Thanksgiving Day parade. The route starts at 20th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, passes City Hall and continues along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, with viewing areas at Logan Square, LOVE Park and Eakins Oval; Santa Claus closes the show.
Downtown streets close in stages from early morning; the parade is televised on 6abc. Check organizer and city updates before heading out.
