俄克拉荷马州州长任命法官弗莱出任州刑事上诉法院法官：2027年1月2日生效
俄克拉荷马州州长 Kevin Stitt 10月29日任命 Marion D. Fry 法官出任州刑事上诉法院（Court of Criminal Appeals）第三区法官，接替即将退休的 Gary Lumpkin 法官，任命自2027年1月2日生效。刑事上诉法院是该州刑事案件的最高上诉法院。
Fry 自2015年起担任勒弗洛尔县（LeFlore County）助理地区法官，2014年首次当选，此后在2018年、2022年与2026年均无对手连任。出任法官前，他曾在塔尔萨县与勒弗洛尔县地区检察官办公室任助理检察官。他本科毕业于俄克拉荷马州立大学，法学学位来自塔尔萨大学法学院。
据州刑事上诉法院介绍，Fry 将成为该法院历史上的第39位法官；第三区席位自1988年由州议会设立以来，他是第二位出任该席位的法官。Lumpkin 法官定于2027年1月1日退休。
Oklahoma Governor Appoints Judge Marion Fry to the Court of Criminal Appeals: Takes Office January 2, 2027
Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt on October 29 appointed Judge Marion D. Fry to the District 3 seat on the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, succeeding Judge Gary Lumpkin, who is retiring. The appointment takes effect January 2, 2027. The Court of Criminal Appeals is the state's highest court for criminal appeals.
Fry has served as associate district judge of LeFlore County since 2015; first elected in 2014, he was re-elected without opposition in 2018, 2022 and 2026. Before joining the bench he served as an assistant district attorney in the Tulsa County and LeFlore County district attorney's offices. He holds a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
According to the Court of Criminal Appeals, Fry will become the 39th judge to sit on the court, and only the second judge to hold the District 3 seat since the legislature created it in 1988. Judge Lumpkin is set to retire on January 1, 2027.
