明尼苏达州今年麻疹确诊80例创36年新高：逾七成患者未满18岁

Minnesota Confirms 80 Measles Cases This Year, the Most in 36 Years: Over 70% of Patients Under 18
Minnesota's governor's office, citing state health department figures in its October 31 weekly briefing, reported that Minnesota has confirmed 80 measles cases so far in 2026, the most in 36 years — the last comparable year was 1990. The briefing urged residents to check their own and their children's measles vaccination records.
Of this year's Minnesota cases, 71% are under 18 years old, and all but two of the patients had not received two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine. Measles is highly contagious, and unvaccinated people account for most infections and spread.
Nationwide, more than 4,500 measles cases have been reported this year, with outbreaks in multiple states. Minnesota health officials advise residents who are unvaccinated or unsure of their status to get the MMR vaccine, and anyone with symptoms such as high fever and rash to call a health-care provider before visiting in person to limit transmission.
