Florida Governor Names Two to the State Board of Chiropractic Medicine: One Appointment and One Reappointment
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on October 30 his appointments to the state Board of Chiropractic Medicine: Pari Limbachia is appointed and Walter Melton is reappointed. The board licenses and regulates chiropractic physicians across Florida, and both actions are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
The governor's office said the board sets practice standards for chiropractic care, approves license applications and handles disciplinary matters, working with the Department of Health on day-to-day regulation of the profession. The appointment and reappointment keep the board at full membership.
Licensing and practice discipline for Florida chiropractors are handled by this board, whose members are appointed by the governor.
