Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to Hold Annual "No Lunch" Lunch on November 17 in Irvine
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, based in Irvine, Orange County, California, will hold its annual "No Lunch" Lunch on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, starting at 11:30 a.m. The event takes place onsite at the food bank's Distribution Center, located at 8014 Marine Way, Irvine, CA 92618. Attendance is by advance registration through the event page on the food bank's official website.
First held in 1984, the "No Lunch" Lunch is one of the food bank's signature annual events. The Distribution Center is transformed into a simple yet elegant gathering space where guests sit at long, communal tables and share a simple buffet meal of soup, provided by Antonello Ristorante, along with salad and bread, in an experience modeled on a soup kitchen. The program includes a State of the Food Bank update, guest speakers, and a call to donate in support of the food bank's work.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1983. Working with a partner network of nearly 300 community distribution sites across Orange County, it provides nutritious food to more than 400,000 food-insecure neighbors each month. According to Orange Coast magazine, last year's "No Lunch" Lunch drew about 300 guests to the Irvine distribution center and raised $226,688.
