威斯康星州长邀军人家庭为州长官邸「向军人致敬」树寄送饰品：11月16日截止
威斯康星州州长Tony Evers与夫人Kathy Evers11月2日在州府Madison宣布，邀请公众与本州军人家庭为州长官邸（Executive Residence）今年的「向军人致敬」（Tribute to Our Troops）节日树贡献饰品，以纪念所有曾经或正在美国武装部队服役的人。
Evers表示：「我们对军人怀有巨大的感激之情，『向军人致敬』树是Kathy和我乐于延续的传统，是州长官邸年度节日庆祝的一部分。尤其在节日期间，许多人远离家乡、或思念已经离世的亲人，能够表彰那些曾经和正在服役者的服务与牺牲、以及他们的家庭，是我们的荣幸。」

Wisconsin Governor Evers Invites Military Families to Send Ornaments for Tribute to Our Troops Tree by Nov. 16
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and First Lady Kathy Evers announced in Madison on November 2 that they are inviting the public and Wisconsin military families to contribute ornaments for this year's "Tribute to Our Troops" holiday tree at the Executive Residence, honoring all who have served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
"We owe our service members a tremendous debt of gratitude, and the 'Tribute to Our Troops' tree is a tradition Kathy and I have been glad to continue as part of our annual holiday celebrations at the Wisconsin Executive Residence each year," Gov. Evers said. "Especially during the holidays, as so many are away from home or missing loved ones who are no longer with us, it is an honor to recognize the service and sacrifices made by those who have served our nation or are currently serving and their families."
The tradition began in 2005. Ornaments can be personalized to honor Wisconsin service members past and present, including fallen service members and those deployed overseas this holiday season, and the invitation is open to families of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Guardians and Coast Guard members. Ornaments will not be returned to senders.
To be included, ornaments must be received no later than Monday, November 16, 2026, at: Troops Tree Ornaments, 3110 Mitchell St., Madison, WI 53704. The ornaments will be displayed at the Executive Residence throughout December and can be viewed during the residence's holiday tours, which require advance registration and run December 5, 8, 15, 17 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
