波士顿（Boston）启动年度冬季外套捐赠：为无家可归居民募集全新外套至2027年2月初
马萨诸塞州萨福克县波士顿（Boston）消息，波士顿市长 Michelle Wu、波士顿公共卫生委员会与波士顿无家可归者之友11月2日宣布启动一年一度的全市冬季外套捐赠活动，为无家可归的居民募集全新冬季外套。
捐赠从11月持续至2027年2月初。居民与商家可通过 Amazon 心愿单捐赠全新外套，或购买后寄往波士顿公共卫生委员会设在 Massachusetts Ave 794号的 Woods Mullen Shelter；全新大号外套也可于每周四中午12时至下午2时30分直接送至该收容所。详情见市府网站无家可归者服务页面。
波士顿公共卫生局长 Dr. Bisola Ojikutu 表示，无家可归仍是波士顿最紧迫的挑战之一。公共卫生委员会的无家可归者服务局每年服务近5,000人，过去四年与无家可归者之友合办的外套捐赠每年约收集400件外套。

Boston Launches Annual Winter Coat Drive: New Coats Collected Through Early February 2027
In Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, Mayor Michelle Wu, the Boston Public Health Commission and Friends of Boston's Homeless announced on November 2 the launch of the annual citywide Winter Coat Drive for residents experiencing homelessness.
Donations run from November through early February 2027. Residents and businesses can donate new coats through an Amazon Wishlist or purchase and ship them to the Boston Public Health Commission's Woods Mullen Shelter at 794 Massachusetts Ave; new large coats can also be dropped off at the shelter on Thursdays from 12 to 2:30 p.m. Details are on the city's homeless services page.
Public Health Commissioner Dr. Bisola Ojikutu said homelessness remains one of the city's most pressing challenges. The commission's Homeless Services Bureau serves nearly 5,000 people a year, and its coat drives with Friends of Boston's Homeless have collected about 400 coats a year over the past four years.
