印第安纳州车辆管理局选举日延长办公：优先办理选民身份证件
印第安纳州车辆管理局（BMV）宣布，为配合11月3日星期二的大选，全州各分局将于11月2日星期一与11月3日星期二延长办公时间：11月2日为上午8时30分至晚上8时，11月3日选举日为上午6时至下午6时。
延长办公期间，各分局将优先办理与身份证件相关的业务，包括新办、修改、换发或补办身份证、学习许可、驾驶执照与商业驾驶执照，办理者须携带全部所需文件，如身份证明、社会安全号证明、合法身份证明与两份60天内的居住证明。没有驾照的印第安纳州居民只要是美国公民、能够提供规定文件、并在下一次大选或市政选举前年满18岁，均可免费申领选民身份证；在2024年11月5日上一次大选之后过期的选民身份证，仍可作为投票身份证明使用。
印第安纳州选民将于11月3日投票选举联邦、州及地方官员。

Indiana BMV Extends Hours for the Election: ID Transactions Prioritized Nov. 2-3
The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) announced extended hours at all branches on Monday, November 2, and Tuesday, November 3, for the general election: 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on November 2, and 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 3.
During the extended hours, branches will prioritize ID-related transactions, including new, amended, renewed or replacement identification cards, learner permits, driver's licenses and commercial driver's licenses; customers must bring all required documentation, such as proof of identity, Social Security number, lawful status and two proofs of residency dated within the last 60 days. Free voter ID cards are available to any unlicensed Indiana resident who is a U.S. citizen, can provide the proper documentation and will be at least 18 by the next general or municipal election. Voter ID cards that expired after the last general election, on November 5, 2024, may still be used as voter identification.
Indiana voters will elect federal, state and local officials on November 3.
