Arsenal beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield on November 1 in a top-of-the-table Premier League clash. The only goal came in the 16th minute, when Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson mishandled a cross and Declan Rice cut the ball back low for Kai Havertz to finish from close range.
Liverpool pressed for an equalizer and Florian Wirtz struck the crossbar with a free kick, but the hosts could not find a way through. It was Arsenal's first league win at Anfield in 14 years, since 2012.
The result lifts Arsenal to 24 points from nine matches, top of the table and three points clear of Manchester City, who lost 1-0 to Brighton this weekend. Liverpool sit fifth on 15 points.
