圣迭戈交响乐团12月12日办幼儿音乐会：铜管五重奏演《玩具进行曲》

San Diego Symphony's Dec. 12 Concert for Toddlers: Brass Quintet Plays March of the Toys
The Jacobs Music Center in San Diego, San Diego County, California, hosts Meet the Brass: March of the Toys on Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., two 30-minute performances in the San Diego Symphony's Symphony Kids series, designed for children ages 0 to 5.
Host Nathalia Palis leads the program with the orchestra's brass quintet; trumpeter Christopher Smith and his colleagues introduce the trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba one by one. The centerpiece is Victor Herbert's March of the Toys from Babes in Toyland. The sensory-friendly series was developed with San Diego State University's autism center, and children are free to move and make noise.
Symphony Kids is the orchestra's series for its youngest listeners, with four programs this season introducing the string, brass, percussion and wind sections. The venue is the Jacobs Music Center, 1245 Seventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. Tickets are $24 through the orchestra's official channels.
Founded in 1910, the San Diego Symphony is California's oldest orchestra, with 82 full-time musicians.
