华裔钢琴家陶康独奏兼指挥：11月6至7日携手犹他交响乐团演莫扎特
犹他州盐湖县盐湖城（Salt Lake City）市中心，犹他交响乐团将于11月6日、7日晚7时30分在 Abravanel Hall（123 W South Temple）举行音乐会。华裔钢琴家陶康（Conrad Tao）一人分饰两角：既担任钢琴独奏，又执棒指挥全场。
当晚曲目以加拿大作曲家 Linda Catlin Smith 的《Nuages》开场，随后陶康自弹自指莫扎特《第20钢琴协奏曲》，下半场是莫扎特生前最后三部交响曲之一、《第40交响曲》。

Conrad Tao Conducts and Plays Mozart with the Utah Symphony, Nov. 6-7 in Salt Lake City
In downtown Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, the Utah Symphony presents pianist Conrad Tao at Abravanel Hall (123 W South Temple) on Nov. 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tao takes on a double role, conducting the orchestra while also appearing as piano soloist.
The program opens with Canadian composer Linda Catlin Smith's Nuages, followed by Tao conducting from the keyboard in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 and closing with Mozart's Symphony No. 40.
Tao's history with the orchestra runs deep: he debuted with the Utah Symphony at age 16 and later served as an artist in residence, and he remains the only classical artist named to Forbes magazine's music-industry 30 Under 30 list. This week's performances mark a homecoming at Abravanel Hall.
According to the orchestra, a pre-concert chat is held in the First Tier Room 45 minutes before each performance. Tickets are sold through the orchestra and ArtTix, Salt Lake County's official ticket seller.
