Semper Fi & America's Fund Launches 15th Annual Double Down Match: $20 Million Goal, Donations Matched Through December 31
On November 1, the nonprofit Semper Fi & America's Fund launched its 15th annual Double Down for Veterans Match Campaign, in partnership with The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and PXG, aiming to raise $20 million to support critically wounded, ill, and injured U.S. service members, veterans, and military families.
Now through December 31, 2026, every donation to The Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10 million, by The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and PXG.
Since the campaign began in 2012, it has generated nearly $275 million for The Fund's mission, fueled by $118 million in match gifts from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation and thousands of donors nationwide.
"For more than two decades, we have seen firsthand that the needs of our service members and their families change over time, but they don't simply disappear," said Karen Guenther, founder and CEO of Semper Fi & America's Fund. "What Bob and Renee have made possible through this extraordinary partnership is the ability to be there when those needs arise, whether that is tomorrow, five years from now, or decades from now. That kind of commitment changes lives."
In fiscal 2026 alone, 5,600 service members received support from The Fund for the first time, the highest number since its inception in 2004. Since 2004, The Fund has delivered nearly $600 million in grants, programs, and services, assisting over 45,000 service members and veterans and 100,000 family members.
Bob Parsons, a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran, said: "Having served as a U.S. Marine, I know firsthand the devastating impacts of war. The men and women who put everything on the line for our country deserve to know that we'll be there when they need us most. That they're never alone, never forgotten." Renee Parsons, co-founder of the foundation, said what she treasures most is the thousands of people who show up for veterans and their families year after year.
Donations can be made through The Fund's website, with matching available through December 31.
