召回：福特召回30,123辆F-150与Super Duty皮卡：尾门左侧拉索重载下可能脱开

Recall: Ford Recalls 30,123 F-150 and Super Duty Trucks as the Left Tailgate Cable May Fail Under Heavy Load
Ford Motor Company is recalling 30,123 pickup trucks, according to its safety recall report filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), campaign 26V689 (Ford recall 26S78): 18,412 model year 2026-2027 F-150 trucks, plus 2026 F-250 Super Duty (7,387), F-350 Super Duty (3,537) and F-450 Super Duty (787) trucks, all built between May 30 and June 16, 2026.
The defect is in the left-hand tailgate support cable: an incomplete crimp in the cable's bolt-end eyelet, caused by a broken crimping die at the supplier, can let the cable detach from the eyelet under heavy load. If a load such as a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) rests on the tailgate, the right-hand cable alone may not support it, and the tailgate can drop onto the top of the rear bumper and strike someone standing at the rear. Ford estimates about 2 percent of the vehicles carry the defect, involving roughly 600 suspect cables.
Ford says the problem surfaced on June 13, 2026, at its Kentucky Truck Plant, when operators saw left-hand cables separating during open-tailgate load testing. As of October 19, Ford was not aware of any accidents, injuries, warranty claims or field reports tied to the condition, and the trucks give drivers no dashboard warning of it.
Dealers will replace the left tailgate cable free of charge. Because the trucks were not built in VIN order, owners cannot tell from a build date whether their truck is included: the affected VINs become searchable on NHTSA's website on December 7, and until then owners can call Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 or ask a dealer to check Ford's OASIS database. Interim owner letters are planned for December 14-18, dealer notification for January 11, 2027, and remedy letters for January 18-22, 2027.
