探索立方体南瓜节收官周末：圣安娜科学馆万圣节舞会、讨糖与南瓜迷宫只剩两天
位于加州橙县圣安娜市的探索立方体橙县馆（Discovery Cube Orange County）年度「南瓜节」（Pumpkin Palooza）进入收官周末：活动只剩10月31日（周六）与11月1日（周日）两天，每日上午10时至下午5时开放，想带孩子过一个有科学味的万圣节的家庭要抓紧最后机会。
南瓜节由橙县废物与回收局（OC Waste & Recycling）呈献。节庆主打「Jack-O-Lynn」万圣节舞会，每天上午11时、正午、下午2时、3时与4时各一场，播放热门歌曲与万圣节经典曲目；现场还有互动南瓜迷宫、碰碰车、迷你拖拉机、趣味科学实验与游戏摊位，孩子们可以在讨糖站收集糖果。一张活动票涵盖舞会、节庆区与讨糖活动。
票务方面要留意：南瓜节是馆内普通门票之外的另购活动，活动票不可退款，可在原定日期至少24小时前、视余位情况免费改期一次；具体票价与余位以官网为准。场馆地址是圣安娜市北主街2500号（2500 N. Main St., Santa Ana），紧邻5号高速公路。
探索立方体橙县馆是南加州知名的儿童科学馆，1998年12月17日开馆，馆内有100多件动手科学展品；馆外那座十层高的太阳能立方体正对5号高速公路，早已是圣安娜的地标。平日展区包括恐龙探索、冰球科学、火箭实验室与地震体验等主题区，南瓜节期间照常开放。
主办方提醒，万圣节当天人流集中，建议提前在官网购票、预留停车与入场时间；年幼孩子可优先选择上午场次，避开午后高峰。

Pumpkin Palooza's Final Weekend: Santa Ana's Discovery Cube Hosts Halloween Dance Parties, Trick-or-Treating and a Pumpkin Maze
Pumpkin Palooza, the annual Halloween festival at Discovery Cube Orange County in the city of Santa Ana, Orange County, California, heads into its final weekend: the event runs only on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day — the last chance this year for families to give Halloween a scientific twist.
Presented by OC Waste & Recycling, the festival is built around the Jack-O-Lynn Halloween dance party, staged five times a day at 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. with current hits and Halloween favorites. Around it are an interactive pumpkin maze, bumper cars, mini tractors, spooky science experiments, festival games and trick-or-treat stations where children can collect candy. One festival ticket covers the dance party, the festival grounds and trick-or-treating.
On tickets, note the fine print: Pumpkin Palooza is an extra-cost event on top of general museum admission. Festival tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged once, at least 24 hours ahead, subject to availability; check the official site for current prices and remaining slots. The museum is at 2500 N. Main St. in Santa Ana, right by Interstate 5.
Discovery Cube Orange County is one of Southern California's best-known children's science museums. It opened on December 17, 1998, houses more than 100 hands-on science exhibits, and is marked by the ten-story solar cube facing Interstate 5 — a longtime Santa Ana landmark. Its regular galleries, including Dino Quest, the Science of Hockey, the Rocket Lab and the Quake Zone, remain open during the festival.
With Halloween-day crowds expected, organizers advise buying tickets online in advance and allowing extra time for parking and entry; families with younger children may prefer the morning dance parties before the afternoon peak.
