UMSL Women's Soccer Beats Lewis 1-0 to Reach GLVC Tournament Semifinal
In St. Louis, Missouri, the No. 8 and top-seeded University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team held on to defeat eighth-seeded Lewis 1-0 on Saturday evening, October 31, at Don Dallas Field, advancing to the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament semifinal.
Maddy Kuhn scored the game's lone goal in the 34th minute, and goalkeeper Allysa Wolf made three saves as the Tritons preserved the shutout. UMSL improved to 14-1-3 on the season, while Lewis finished at 7-8-3.
The Tritons will play the winner of Maryville versus Quincy in the semifinal on Thursday, November 5 at 4 p.m. in Springfield, Missouri.
