数十对新人万圣节前夜在圣迭戈当场领证成婚：县行政中心办起主题婚礼日
加利福尼亚州圣迭戈县10月30日在圣迭戈市中心的县行政中心举办万圣节主题婚礼日「Halloweddings」：数十对新人无需预约，直接到场领取结婚证并当场举行民事婚礼，在万圣节前夜完成人生大事。
这项活动由圣迭戈县估值官、记录官兼县书记官办公室主办。该办公室全年负责核发结婚证与主持民事婚礼，每年发出约二万五千张结婚证、主持一万一千多场民事婚礼；主题婚礼日是其近年推出的特色服务，把领证与仪式安排在同一天、同一栋楼内一次办妥。
县府表示，平日办理结婚证与婚礼仪式通常需要分别预约，主题婚礼日则开放随到随办，吸引了不少特意挑万圣节登记的新人。错过此次活动的居民，仍可通过该办公室的常规预约渠道办理结婚登记与民事仪式。
Dozens of Couples Wed at the County Administration Center in San Diego's 'Halloweddings'
San Diego County, California, held its Halloween-themed wedding day, "Halloweddings," on October 30 at the County Administration Center in downtown San Diego, where dozens of couples obtained marriage licenses and took part in civil ceremonies on the spot, without appointments, on the day before Halloween.
The event is run by the office of the County Assessor, Recorder and County Clerk, which issues marriage licenses and performs civil ceremonies year-round, issuing about 25,000 licenses and performing more than 11,000 ceremonies a year. The themed wedding day is a recent addition that lets couples complete the license and the ceremony in one visit, in one building.
The county said licenses and ceremonies normally require separate appointments, while the walk-in format drew many couples who deliberately chose Halloween to marry. Residents who missed the event can still book licenses and civil ceremonies through the office's regular appointment channels.
