泰国芭堤雅夜市公厕冲突：5名中国男子与管理员互殴 两人头部被枪柄击伤

Brawl at a Pattaya Night-Market Toilet Block: Five Chinese Men Fight Two Attendants, Two Struck on the Head With a Gun Butt
PATTAYA — A brawl broke out at about 11:15 p.m. on October 30 outside the public toilets of a street-food market in Pattaya, Chonburi Province, Thailand, when five Chinese men clashed with two Thai toilet attendants over a 150-baht cleaning fee. Several people were injured, including two Chinese men who were struck on the head with the butt of a gun. Pattaya City Police took the five Chinese men and the two Thai attendants in for questioning and seized the gun involved.
Attendant Natthakan, 30, told Thai media that about five visibly intoxicated Chinese men had used the toilets in turn that night and that he afterwards found the floor and facilities soiled. Under the market's rules, anyone who soils the toilets must pay a 150-baht cleaning fee; he stopped the group and asked them to look, the men reacted angrily, one of them pushed him against a wall, and a fight began. The clash spilled outside, and Natthakan said the number of Chinese participants rose to about seven or eight, with he and his colleague Kritsadawut Saesang set upon by several men.
Kritsadawut then fetched an air gun and struck the Chinese men on the head with its butt, trying to stop the attack. Police investigators found the gun had been modified so that it could fire live ammunition, making it a homemade firearm controlled under firearms law. Two Chinese men suffered bleeding head wounds, and the two Thai attendants had bruises in several places; bystanders and security guards intervened before police arrived and took control.
The five Chinese men are aged between 28 and 64. Police opened a case against both sides for taking part in a brawl in a public place, and the five Chinese men were fined at the investigation stage. The Thai man who used the gun faces additional proceedings under firearms law on top of the brawl case; he was released on bail and is recovering at home. The full sequence of events remains subject to the police review of surveillance footage.
