The 138th Rose Parade steps off at 8 a.m. on January 1, 2027, in Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California, traveling its 5.5-mile route down Colorado Boulevard under this year's theme, "Welcome."
Presented by the Tournament of Roses, the New Year tradition dating to 1890 features dozens of floats decorated entirely in flowers and natural materials, marching bands from across the country and equestrian units. Curbside viewing along the route is free. Reserved grandstand seats are sold by the Tournament's official ticketing partner, Sharp Seating, priced from $82 to $133 depending on area, and popular sections sell out early.
A clear-bag policy applies along the route, and organizers advise arriving early; curbside viewers with chairs and blankets traditionally begin claiming spots on the afternoon of December 31.
