Glacier Bancorp, the Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana parent company of Glacier Bank, announced on October 29 that its board of directors has approved a new stock repurchase program authorizing the repurchase of up to $200 million of its outstanding common stock through December 31, 2027. The company said repurchases may be made in the open market, in block trades, or in privately negotiated transactions, subject to applicable federal securities laws; the timing, frequency and quantity of repurchases will be at the discretion of senior management, and the program does not require that any minimum number of shares be repurchased. Glacier Bancorp is the parent company of Glacier Bank and its bank divisions, which are located in states including Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, Arizona and Washington.
