SAP Announces on Oct. 29 That Its North Texas Regional Headquarters Will Be in Addison, Dallas County, Texas: About 1,000 Employees to Move into Spectrum Center in Mid-2027
SAP, a global leader in enterprise software and business super intelligence (SI), announced on October 29 that it has selected Addison, Texas, as its North Texas regional headquarters, merging about 1,000 employees from its Plano office and SAP Concur's Allen office into Spectrum Center at 5080 Spectrum Drive. The new office is expected to become operational in mid-2027 and will house regional business operations, software development and a customer experience center, where corporate clients can explore SAP technologies including super intelligence (SI). Michael May, managing director for SAP's U.S. South Market Unit, said the new space is a meaningful moment for the team, customers and community, and that Addison is one of the country's top innovation and tech talent hubs. Along the Lower Dallas North Tollway corridor in Addison, Google, ServiceNow, Hitachi Digital Services, Tanium and Topaz Labs have operations, while IBM and Amazon Web Services are represented in the broader corridor, spanning enterprise software, cloud computing, cybersecurity and super intelligence (SI). SAP said 99 of the world's 100 largest companies are its customers, and the new headquarters is expected to bring more corporate executives and technology leaders to North Texas.
