Costa Homebuilders Announces Expansion Into West Virginia on October 29: Pittsburgh-Area Custom Luxury Builder Since 1998 Brings Build-on-Your-Lot Program to Morgantown
A family-owned custom luxury homebuilder from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area announced on October 29 that it is expanding into West Virginia, beginning to accept clients in Morgantown, in Monongalia County, and surrounding communities, while also offering some building opportunities in the Eastern Panhandle. Costa Homebuilders has built custom luxury homes in the Pittsburgh area since 1998, and this is the first time its "Build On Your Lot" program has crossed a state line.
Under the model, homeowners build on land they already own or plan to buy, working with a dedicated architect to design a floor plan from scratch, with the company managing construction from site evaluation to final walkthrough. Sales manager Anthony Ferrare said Morgantown is about an hour's drive south of the company office along Interstate 79, and that families there want the same thing Pittsburgh clients want: a home designed around their own way of life.
The company noted that population and professional growth in north-central West Virginia is concentrated around West Virginia University and WVU Medicine, while growth in the Eastern Panhandle comes from residents tied to the Washington, D.C., economy, many of them physicians, university leaders, executives and business owners.
