北美华人生物医药协会（CABS）将于10月29日（周四）美西时间晚7时至8时在线上举办专题研讨会「跨境交易：跨越重洋的西行之旅」（Cross-Border Deals: A Journey to the West by Sea），邀请 Linear Dreams 管理合伙人、创始人 Cheni Kwok 博士，拆解中西生物医药跨境交易（BD）合作与管线出海的实战要点。
据主办方介绍，西方药企面临「专利悬崖」，加上高质量创新与研发成本、速度方面的优势，中西之间的跨境交易近年来快速增长。本次研讨会将分享如何准备一项跨境合作，并解析这一快速演变领域的最新格局。
主讲人 Cheni Kwok 博士持有 CLP（注册许可专业人士）资格，长期从事生物医药战略、商务拓展、许可与联盟管理，先后发起、谈判并执行超过200宗交易，其中包括20宗跨境合作。

CABS Workshop on Cross-Border Deals Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. PT Online: Dr. Cheni Kwok on Biopharma Partnerships and Taking Pipelines Overseas
The Chinese-American Bio/Pharmaceutical Society (CABS) will hold an online workshop, "Cross-Border Deals: A Journey to the West by Sea," on Thursday, October 29, from 7 to 8 p.m. Pacific Time, featuring Dr. Cheni Kwok, Managing Partner and Founder of Linear Dreams, on how cross-border biopharmaceutical partnerships are prepared and executed.
According to the organizers, cross-border deals between China and the Western world have grown rapidly as Western drugmakers face "patent cliffs," alongside a wave of high-quality innovation and significant advantages in R&D cost and speed in China. The workshop will share how to prepare for a cross-border partnership and provide insights into this rapidly evolving landscape.
Dr. Kwok, a PhD and Certified Licensing Professional (CLP), brings extensive expertise in biopharmaceutical strategy, business development, licensing and alliance management, having initiated, negotiated and executed over 200 transactions, including 20 cross-border partnerships.
