犹他州47G与美国雪车雪橇队合作：以航空复合材料研制新一代雪车，面向2034年冬奥会
犹他州盐湖县盐湖城市消息：犹他州航空航天与国防协会 47G、美国雪车与雪橇队（USABS）与多家复合材料企业10月28日在盐湖城 47G「零重力峰会」（Zero Gravity Summit）上宣布合作，为美国雪车队研制新一代竞技雪车的整流罩（cowling）。
按照分工，Albany Engineered Composites 在犹他州设有业务，将为四人雪车研制整流罩；位于犹他州的 Nammo Composite Solutions 将为双人雪车打造碳纤维整流罩；Hexcel 提供材料专长。大学合作伙伴由 47G 牵线参与。各方称，这一项目旨在借助犹他州的航空航天复合材料能力，为2034年犹他冬奥会打造更轻、更快的雪车。

47G and U.S. Bobsled/Skeleton Partner With Aerospace Composite Firms on Next-Generation Bobsleds for 2034
SALT LAKE CITY, Salt Lake County, Utah — 47G, Utah's aerospace and defense association, the U.S. Bobsled/Skeleton team (USABS) and several composites companies announced a partnership on October 28 at 47G's Zero Gravity Summit in Salt Lake City, during the city's Hard Tech Week, to develop next-generation bobsled cowlings for the U.S. team.
Albany Engineered Composites, which has Utah operations, will develop cowlings for the four-man bobsled; Utah-based Nammo Composite Solutions will build carbon-fiber cowlings for the two-man sled; and Hexcel will contribute materials expertise, with university partners convened by 47G. The partners say the effort applies Utah's aerospace composites capability to building lighter, faster sleds ahead of the 2034 Utah Winter Olympics.
"We'll be proud to support Team USA," said Lyndon Smith of Hexcel.
