加利福尼亚州旧金山县旧金山市消息：旧金山渡轮大厦（Ferry Building）每周三15时至19时举办麻将聚会（Mahjong Meetup），10月28日本周场次照常举行，地点在渡轮大厦 Marketplace 内（Delica 对面）。
主办方表示，聚会欢迎所有水平的参加者；从未打过麻将、想学的人，现场有中式麻将的简明指南与打法提示。现场提供麻将牌，参加者也可自带惯用的牌；座位与牌具先到先得。
渡轮大厦位于 Embarcadero 海滨，是旧金山地标建筑，内有近 50 家本地食品商户与餐厅。该麻将聚会为每周常设活动。
