Megan Griffith to Step Down After 16 Years Running Austin's Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, Joining Art Licensing Platform Epoch Inspired
In Austin, Travis County, Texas, Megan Griffith, who has run the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar for about 16 years, has announced she will step down at the end of 2026. According to the Austin Chronicle, longtime bazaar team member Annie Barmore will serve as interim producer, and in 2027 Griffith will join Epoch Inspired, an art licensing platform founded in Shanghai, as its general manager for the Americas.
Founded in the 1970s, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is a nearly half-century-old Austin holiday tradition featuring hundreds of artists and live music. The bazaar will continue as scheduled after Griffith's departure.
