爱达荷州教育厅启动年度学生假日贺卡大赛：11月16日截止投稿
爱达荷州教育厅10月21日发布公告，邀请全州幼儿园至12年级学生参加年度学生假日贺卡大赛。比赛分两个组别：幼儿园至6年级组与7至12年级组，面向全州所有公立和特许学校学生开放。
各年级优胜作品将在教育厅官网展示，最终从中选出两名总冠军，其作品将被印制成教育厅今年的官方假日贺卡，获奖学生还将收到贺卡成品留作纪念。州教育总监 Debbie Critchfield 表示，评审这项比赛是她最喜欢的职责之一，每年学生提交的作品都令人惊艳，选出优胜者并不容易。
参赛作品须以冬季或假日为场景，尺寸为8.5乘11英寸，须为手绘作品，可使用水彩、彩纸、马克笔、蜡笔等材料；铅笔素描、布艺设计，以及摄影、视频、数字创作和含有版权图像的作品均不受理。投稿须在11月16日（周一）前送达或以当日邮戳为准，可通过教育厅公布的数字提交表在线递交，也可邮寄至位于 Boise 的教育厅办公室。
Idaho Education Department Opens Annual Student Holiday Card Contest; Entries Due November 16
The Idaho Department of Education announced on October 21 that its annual student holiday card contest is open to all public and charter school students in kindergarten through 12th grade, in two divisions: K-6 and grades 7-12.
Winning entries from each grade level will be displayed on the department's website, and two overall winners will have their artwork printed as the department's official holiday card this year, receiving finished cards as keepsakes. Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield said judging the contest is one of her favorite duties and that picking winners from the impressive entries is never easy.
Artwork must depict a winter or holiday scene on 8.5-by-11-inch paper and be hand-drawn using materials such as watercolor, construction paper, markers or crayons; pencil sketches, fabric designs, photography, video, digital art and work containing copyrighted images are not accepted. Entries must be delivered or postmarked by Monday, November 16, via the department's online form or by mail to its Boise office. Winners will be announced in December.
