密苏里公用事业委员会就710兆瓦燃气电厂申请排定11月三场听证
密苏里州公共服务委员会（PSC）10月20日发布公告（编号 PR-27-27），就 Evergy公司的新建电厂许可申请排定公众听证日程：11月16日在圣约瑟夫的密苏里西方州立大学举行一场现场听证，11月17日另举行中午与晚间两场线上听证，居民可到场或通过电话、网络提交意见，每场先进行信息说明与答问、随后听取公众证词。Evergy旗下两家公司于8月31日向委员会提出「便利与必要性证书」申请，拟在布坎南县建设710兆瓦联合循环燃气发电厂 Buchanan Bluffs Energy Center 2号机组，并在贾斯珀县建设109兆瓦电池储能项目Foxtrot BESS。
委员会表示，听证意见将纳入审批记录，申请能否获批仍待审理程序完成后决定。
Missouri PSC Schedules Three November Hearings on 710 MW Gas Plant Application
The Missouri Public Service Commission has scheduled three public hearings in case PR-27-27 on an application covering a 710-megawatt natural gas plant — Buchanan Bluffs Unit 2 in Buchanan County — and the 109-megawatt Foxtrot battery storage project in Jasper County. An in-person hearing will be held November 16 at Missouri Western State University in St.
Joseph, followed by two virtual sessions at midday and in the evening on November 17. The application was filed on August 31.
Residents, local governments and other stakeholders may testify or submit comments on the projects' need, siting and rate impact. The commission will weigh the testimony and the evidentiary record before ruling on whether the projects may proceed.
