明尼苏达州交通厅（MnDOT）10月20日在罗切斯特宣布，其第6区面向东南部11个县的社区及合作机构开放「交通替代」（TransportationAlternatives）补助申请，本轮可供竞争性分配的资金为210万美元，用于行人与自行车设施、历史保护、「安全上学路线」等地方项目，获资助项目的建设期为2031财政年度，并要求地方配套20%。申请方须先提交意向书，截止日期为2026年10月30日；交通厅代表将联系申请方协助审查方案，其后由区域机构与交通厅在11月25日前完成意向审查并给出是否进入正式申请的建议。
正式申请期于11月30日开始，2027年1月8日截止，各区域交通合作组织须在2027年3月29日前选定项目。交通厅表示，详细规则已刊登在第6区区域交通合作组织网页上。
MnDOT Opens $2.1 Million Community Transportation Grant Round for 11 Southeastern Counties
The Minnesota Department of Transportation's District 6 has opened a community transportation funding round of about $2.1 million for 11 southeastern Minnesota counties, with construction slated for fiscal 2031. Local governments must provide a 20 percent match.
Letters of intent are due by October 30, 2026; full applications will be accepted from November 30, 2026 to January 8, 2027, and selections are expected by March 29, 2027. The program funds local projects such as transit facilities, shelters and accessibility improvements that connect residents to jobs, health care and services.
