密歇根已有逾78.9万人投票 州务卿吁邮寄选票改亲手递交
密歇根州州务卿办公室10月20日公布，距离11月3日大选还有两周，全州已有超过78万人完成投票，活跃登记选民投票率达10.7%。截至当天上午7时，共有2,121,458名选民申请邮寄（缺席）选票，其中2,001,574人在长期邮寄名单上；已交回的完成选票为789,476张，加上在提前投票站投出的选票，总投票人数为789,572人。
申请量较2022年中期选举同期增加17%。副州务卿 AghoghoEdevbie提醒，尚未寄回选票的选民应避免再经邮寄，改将签好名并密封的选票亲手送至所属书记官办公室、指定投递箱，或带到提前投票站及选举日投票站投入票箱；书记官必须在选举日晚8时前收到选票方计有效，选民勿等到最后一刻。
More Than 789,000 Michiganders Have Already Voted; Officials Urge Hand-Delivery of Mail Ballots
More than 789,000 Michigan voters have already cast ballots for the November 3 election, state officials said: 2,121,458 absentee ballots have been requested, 2,001,574 voters are on the permanent mail ballot list, 789,476 ballots have been returned, and total turnout including in-person voting stands at 789,572 — a turnout of 10.7 percent, running 17 percent ahead of the same point in 2022. Deputy Secretary of State Aghogho Edevbie urged voters still holding mail ballots to deliver them by hand to a clerk's office or secure drop box rather than mailing them this close to Election Day.
Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on election night, November 3, to be counted.
