San Francisco: 12th Chinatown Halloween Festival Returns to Waverly Place on Oct. 31 With Free Pumpkin Patch and Costume Contest
San Francisco is a city in San Francisco County, California (a consolidated city-county). In San Francisco, California, Chinatown's annual Halloween festival is returning. The 12th annual Chinatown Halloween Festival will be held on October 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Waverly Place, the historic Chinatown alley, with free admission for all ages. Hosted by the Community Youth Center (CYC), the event features a pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, games and a costume contest. Waverly Place is one of Chinatown's most historic lanes and is home to the Tin How Temple. Organizers advise taking public transit, as the area will be crowded, and checking the organizer's latest announcements for any weather or schedule changes.
