邓利维发文动员提前投票：支持废除排序投票，州长选战排共和党三人1-2-3
阿拉斯加州长迈克·邓利维10月20日在《阿拉斯加故事》发表署名文章《投票，再加五票》，动员选民在提前投票期积极投票，"投完票再打电话给五个朋友，确保他们也投票"。文章围绕两大主题：一是支持第2号公投提案——废除排序选择投票制，邓利维本人将投赞成票；二是指导州长选战投票策略。
民主党方面已完成整合，汤姆·贝吉奇退出竞选并背书乔纳森·克莱斯-汤姆金斯；共和党方面有三位候选人进入11月选票：伯纳黛特·威尔逊、戴夫·布朗森和特雷格·泰勒。邓利维呼吁共和党选民按偏好把三位共和党人排为第一、第二、第三，"把另一位共和党人排第二或第三，不会从你的第一选择那里拿走任何东西"。
他强调，天然气管线、资源经济、可靠能源和留住年轻人的就业岗位，都取决于选民现在出来投票。阿拉斯加提前投票正在进行中。
Dunleavy Rallies Early Voters: Back Repeal of Ranked-Choice Voting, Rank the Three Republicans 1-2-3 in Governor's Race
Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy published a signed op-ed titled "Vote, Plus Five" in The Alaska Story on October 20, urging Alaskans to vote during the early voting period and then "call five friends and make sure they vote too." The piece has two themes. First, Dunleavy supports Ballot Measure 2, the proposal to repeal ranked-choice voting, and says he will vote yes.
Second, he offers a strategy for the governor's race: Democrats have consolidated, with Tom Begich dropping out and endorsing Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins, while three Republicans will be on the November ballot — Bernadette Wilson, Dave Bronson and Treg Taylor. Dunleavy urges Republican voters to rank the three Republicans first, second and third in their own order of preference, saying that "ranking another Republican second or third does not take anything away from your first choice." He stresses that the gas pipeline, the resource economy, reliable energy and jobs that keep young people in Alaska all depend on voters turning out now.
Early voting is under way in Alaska.
