Pasadena Reports Third Rabid Bat of the Year; Health Officials Say Overall Risk to Public Is Low
The Pasadena Public Health Department has reported a third bat infected with rabies in the city this year. Pasadena is a city in Los Angeles County, California. The bat was found on Sunday, Oct. 11, on E. Green Street, between S. Marengo Avenue and S. Euclid Avenue. The department said no human rabies cases have been reported, and the overall risk to the public remains low. The department urges the public to exercise caution around bats.
