Palmdale Road Work on Avenue R Runs Oct. 20-23 With Left-Turn Restrictions
The City of Palmdale, in Los Angeles County, California, issued a road construction update on Oct. 19 for work on Avenue R from Oct. 20 to 23, advising motorists to allow extra travel time. At the 40th Street East and 45th Street East intersections, left-turn restrictions will be in place Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 20-23. At 30th Street East, north-south travel remains open with no turn restrictions from Oct. 21 to 23. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily; inside lanes will be closed during work while outside lanes remain open for east-west travel on Avenue R. All construction is weather permitting; the project hotline is 661-409-3655.
