Fargo 设立退伍军人治疗法院 为退伍军人提供替代性司法支持
北达科他州为退伍军人设立的专科法庭——退伍军人治疗法院（Veterans Treatment Court），近日在 Fargo 的 Cass 县法院正式落成启用。落成典礼于10月9日在 Cass 县法院库房大楼举行。

Veterans Treatment Court Opens in Fargo to Offer Alternative Justice Path
A Veterans Treatment Court has opened in Fargo, North Dakota, with an opening ceremony held Oct. 9 at the Cass County Courthouse annex.
Speakers at the ceremony included a surgeon and veterans' advocate, and Cass County State's Attorney Birch Burdick and East Central District Judge Susan Bailey attended, KVRR reported. Officials stressed the court's mission: giving veterans caught in the criminal justice system an alternative path of support and supervision through a specialty court rather than incarceration alone, and called for resources to sustain the new program. It is North Dakota's second veterans treatment court; the first is in Grand Forks. The VA Fargo health care system will help coordinate the program. (GSM, via KVRR and The Forum)
