Iowa Climbs to No. 15 in AP Poll, No. 14 in Coaches Poll Ahead of Minnesota Trip
Iowa climbed to No. 15 in the Associated Press poll and No. 14 in the US LBM Coaches Poll released Oct. 18, up from No. 17 and No. 16 a week earlier.
The Hawkeyes are 5-1 (2-1 in the Big Ten) and were idle last week; their only loss came against national-title contender Ohio State. Iowa owns wins over Iowa State, Michigan and Washington — the latter two on the road — and remains in the College Football Playoff picture. Iowa travels to Minnesota on Oct. 24 for the Floyd of Rosedale Trophy game, kicking off at 2:30 p.m. CT on FS1. (GSM, via Hawk Central)
