环保署发布CMAQ空气质量模型6.0版 供各州编制达标规划
华盛顿——美国环境保护署（EPA）10月19日发布社区多尺度空气质量模型（CMAQ）6.0版。环保署表示，新版模型更新了化学机制，加入从全球到地方的尺度衔接，强化污染来源与区域追踪并加快运算速度，供州、地方及部落伙伴编制州实施计划（SIP）与开展空气质量达标规划，以满足国家环境空气质量标准（NAAQS）。CMAQ是环保署用于模拟臭氧、颗粒物等污染物生成与传输的核心模型，其更新将影响各地空气质量规划的技术基础。
EPA Releases Updated CMAQ Air Model Version 6.0 for State Air Quality Planning
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on October 19 released version 6.0 of its Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) model. The agency said the update adds upgraded chemical mechanisms, global-to-local scaling, enhanced source and region tracking and faster processing, helping state, local and tribal partners prepare State Implementation Plans and attainment planning under the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). CMAQ is the EPA's core model for simulating how pollutants such as ozone and particulate matter form and move, and the update affects the technical basis of air quality planning nationwide.
