华盛顿——美国国务院10月19日发布美奥战略对话联合声明：两国高级官员当日于华盛顿举行最新一轮美国—奥地利战略对话，重申深化伙伴关系，以应对共同安全与繁荣面临的新挑战。声明称，美奥双边经济关系处于历史最强水平：2025年两国货物贸易接近230亿美元，累计外国直接投资达310亿美元，双方计划在平衡、互惠的贸易关系下继续扩大贸易与投资。两国确认，保护关键与新兴技术、特别是军民两用技术，对经济与国家安全至关重要，双方将继续扩大在研究安全以及半导体、量子等前沿技术上的合作。美国祝贺奥地利当选2027至2028年度联合国安理会非常任理事国，并欢迎其继续担任多个联合国专门机构的东道国；双方将寻求在安理会密切协调，推动乌克兰实现持久和平与中东稳定。美方还肯定奥地利在打击非法移民、保护边境方面的领导作用，及其对西巴尔干稳定的贡献。双方期待在维也纳举行下一轮战略对话。
U.S. and Austria Hold Strategic Dialogue in Washington, Reaffirm Partnership in Joint Statement
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of State on October 19 released a joint statement from the latest U.S.-Austria Strategic Dialogue, held in Washington, D.C., at which senior officials of the two governments recommitted to deepening their partnership. The statement said the bilateral economic relationship has never been stronger: bilateral goods trade reached nearly $23 billion in 2025 and cumulative foreign direct investment stands at $31 billion, with both sides planning to expand trade and investment as part of a balanced, reciprocal trading relationship. The two sides affirmed that protecting critical and emerging technologies, especially dual-use technologies, is essential to economic and national security, and said they will expand cooperation on research security as well as on semiconductors, quantum and other frontier technologies. The United States congratulated Austria on its election to the UN Security Council for the 2027–2028 term and said the two sides will coordinate closely in the Council to advance a lasting peace in Ukraine and stability in the Middle East. The United States also commended Austria's leadership in combating illegal migration and protecting its borders, and recognized its contributions to stability in the Western Balkans. The next Strategic Dialogue is to be held in Vienna.
