Carmel High School Marching Band Wins Indianapolis Super Regional With 90.95
INDIANAPOLIS — The Carmel High School marching band took first place at the Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional at Lucas Oil Stadium on October 16-17, scoring 90.95 points.
Avon High School placed second with 90.8 and Blue Springs third with 88.65, the Indianapolis Star reported. Carmel also won the captions for best music and best general effect, while Avon took best visual. Fourteen bands reached the finals, ten of them from Indiana. (GSM, based on the Indianapolis Star)
