Windsor Locks——康涅狄格州州长 Ned Lamont 与州交通厅长 Garrett Eucalitto 宣布，新建的 Windsor Locks 火车站自2026年10月18日（周日）起投入服务，供 CT rail Hartford Line 与 Amtrak 列车停靠，州府与地方官员已在位于 231 Main Street 的新站举行剪彩。
新站把客运铁路与巴士服务从镇中心南侧迁至 Main Street 附近的中心位置，邻近住宅、商铺、镇政厅与公共图书馆，并增设前往 Bradley International Airport 的巴士服务，平日班次加密、新增周末班次。车站设有160个停车位、电动车充电桩、自行车架与巴士上下客区，约500英尺长的站台可实现无障碍平层上车，另有9,500平方英尺的站务建筑。整个项目耗资1.212亿美元，其中车站与道路工程4,610万美元、轨道与人行天桥工程7,510万美元，约85%由州政府出资、15%为联邦资金。Lamont 说，新站补上了 Windsor Locks 市中心再开发缺失的一环，把居民与就业、旅客与机场连接起来。

New Windsor Locks Train Station Opens October 18 With Expanded Bradley Airport Bus Links
WINDSOR LOCKS — Governor Ned Lamont and Connecticut Transportation Commissioner Garrett Eucalitto announced that the newly constructed Windsor Locks Train Station will open for CT rail Hartford Line and Amtrak service starting Sunday, October 18, 2026. Officials marked the opening with a ribbon cutting at the station, located at 231 Main Street.
The new station relocates passenger rail and bus service to a central location near Main Street, close to housing, businesses, Windsor Locks Town Hall and the public library, and adds expanded bus service to Bradley International Airport with weekday and new weekend connections. It provides 160 parking spaces, electric vehicle chargers, bicycle racks and a dedicated bus area; an approximately 500-foot platform allows fully accessible level boarding, supported by a 9,500-square-foot station building. The overall $121.2 million project includes $46.1 million for station and roadway improvements and $75.1 million for track and pedestrian bridge work, funded with approximately 85% state and 15% federal funds. "We built this new station to correct the missing link in the redevelopment of downtown Windsor Locks, connecting residents to jobs and travelers to Bradley International Airport and beyond," Governor Lamont said.
