洛杉矶侨界急难救助协会10月25日办秋季生活安全韧性讲座 六讲题涵盖防灾、健康与急难准备
洛杉矶侨界急难救助协会将于10月25日（星期日）下午2时至5时，在洛杉矶华侨文教服务中心大礼堂举办「2026秋季生活安全韧性讲座」，免费参加。讲座是该协会庆祝双十国庆季的活动之一，指导单位为驻洛杉矶台北经济文化办事处与洛杉矶华侨文教服务中心。华侨文教服务中心地址：9443 Telstar Ave, El Monte, CA 91731，电话：(626) 443-9999。
本次讲座共设六个讲题。第一讲为2026年台湾「侨民役男」入出境新规定，由洛杉矶华侨文教服务中心主讲。第二讲为常见的骨外科伤害保健，主讲人为骨科医师林元清，他曾任美国卫生福利部助理部长，现任美国仁爱医疗集团副总裁。
第三讲题为「从105F到暴雨，南加州的极端气候你准备好了吗」，由华兴保险总裁张国兴主讲，内容涉及2026至27强圣婴季南加州家庭防灾、急难准备与财产保障。第四讲为华埠服务中心（CSC）应对本地紧急灾难，由该中心执行长伍竞群主讲，介绍灾难发生时服务中心与社区携手度过难关的做法。
第五讲题为「预防胜于治疗」，谈50岁以后需要注意哪些疫苗，由洛杉矶华埠服务中心医师主讲。第六讲为家庭急难包怎么准备，由美国慈济总会专家主讲，主办方以「关键时刻，有准备就有保障」概括这一讲的主旨。
据主办方介绍，活动现场将赠送家用医疗包，由华兴保险赞助。洛杉矶侨界急难救助协会会长为杨家淦，理事长为刘焕君，本次活动召集人为杨贤怡。
Los Angeles Overseas Chinese Emergency Assistance Association to Hold Fall Life-Safety Resilience Seminar on Oct. 25
The Los Angeles Overseas Chinese Emergency Assistance Association will hold its 2026 Fall Life-Safety Resilience Seminar on Sunday, October 25, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the auditorium of the Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles. Admission is free. The seminar is part of the association's Double Ten National Day season program, presented under the guidance of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles and the Culture Center. The Culture Center is located at 9443 Telstar Ave, El Monte, CA 91731; phone: (626) 443-9999.
Six talks are scheduled. The first covers Taiwan's 2026 entry-and-exit rules for overseas-national servicemen, presented by the Culture Center. The second, on common orthopedic injuries and care, will be given by orthopedic specialist Dr. Lin Yuanqing, a former U.S. Department of Health and Human Services assistant secretary and now vice president of AHMC Healthcare.
The third talk, on preparing for Southern California's extreme weather from 105-degree heat to storms, will be given by Zhang Guoxing, president of KCAL Insurance Agency, covering household disaster prevention, emergency readiness and property protection for the 2026-27 strong El Nino season. The fourth talk, on how Chinatown Service Center (CSC) responds to local emergencies, will be given by CSC Chief Executive Officer Wu Jingqun.
The fifth talk, on vaccines adults over 50 should know about, will be given by a physician from Chinatown Service Center in Los Angeles. The sixth, on how to prepare a household emergency kit, will be given by a specialist from the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation's U.S. headquarters.
According to the organizer, attendees will receive a complimentary home medical kit sponsored by KCAL Insurance Agency. The association's president is Yang Jiagan, its council chair is Liu Huanjun, and the event convener is Yang Xianyi.
